Panaeolus Cyanescens Cull

This strain belongs to the Panaeolus cyanescens family, also known as the “Hawaiian” or “Copelandia”. The “Cull” strain from the Panaeolus cyanescens family is from New South Wales
The Panaeolus cyanescens needs more attention during the preparation and the maintenance of their ideal growing circumstances than the Psilocybe cubensis strains. It is more sensitive to the right levels of fresh air, humidity and temperature. All the strains of the Panaeolus cyanescens grow best on a dung based substrate but, it is also reported to fruit on pasteurized straw. The spawn can be grown on rye or other grain. The mycelium is fast growing, so de colonization is fast but not as heavy as the Psilocybe cubensis. A lot of air exchange and humidity is needed so, mist the surface once a day. The best temperatures will be 27 - 30 °C during
colonisation of the substrate. The best fruiting conditions will be indirect sun light, 23 - 26 °C and 95 - 100% air humidity. The fruiting usually takes place within a week of exposure of the substrate to fruiting conditions and then you should give them fresh air 4 or 5 times a day and reduce the humidity levels to 90 – 95%.
If you take them fresh, between 10 and 20 grams of fresh mushrooms are enough for a normal trip. If you dried them take between 0.5- 0.7 gram for a regular trip. You should eat them after chewing them well. You can also make tea (it will taste a bit better!) boiling the mushrooms for 20 minutes but, add no sugar. After drinking the tea eat the mushrooms as well. Always best if you take them on an empty stomach.
The Panaeolus cyanescens, are stronger than any cubensis strain and are considered one of the strongest halluginogenic mushrooms currently know to man. They will give you a strong, intense and visual trip. In the beginning of the trip you might feel a bit nauseous but, this feeling will disappear when the psilocybin starts kicking in!
